Van Halen Women And Children First

Dear Manalishi, it’s a pleasure to hear about a work that, to be known around here, had to be released "1984." Nevertheless, it’s a great album that all lovers of the electric or acoustic guitar should have listened to. I somewhat disagree that it’s hard rock in the old-fashioned way, as it represented a novelty for its time. However, the statement made today is certainly more suitable, at least to help a young person today understand what "Women And Children First" was made of.

Well, although the review may not satisfy the most demanding, I find it very clear for those who are still undecided about whether to buy the first chapter branded Led Zeppelin.

Considering that I'm delving into the discussion "Men At Work" again, I find your comment truly enlightening and perfect for helping those who might want to venture into listening to this phenomenal band. Well done... oh, I almost forgot, since you often talk about The Police, why haven’t I found your comment regarding what I wrote about one of the greatest rock trios in history? ...I thought that only my great passion for Dire Straits made me connect "Touching The Untouchables" to the great Mark Knopfler, but I see you have sensed the same thing (I've written a few things about Dire as well... some say I've said too much).

Finally, a nice review of an album worthy of attention that perhaps only the most curious and loyal will appreciate.
Uriah Heep ...Very 'eavy ...Very 'umble

There are valid albums by Uriah Heep, but this one showcases them in that original guise that will start to fade away after just a couple of years. I'll be honest (and perhaps a bit demanding), but I prefer to read reviews that are a bit more in-depth... Come on, with "Salisbury" you’ll get it right again... ;-)

Honestly, I didn't think that following the four words spent on this album there would be so many interventions, so I take full responsibility for filling in the lines below. RLR is definitely a "low-commercial" product, meaning it’s not exactly aimed at the more mainstream music-consuming population. However, I also have to say that it’s still a product of excellent quality, and to label it as boring and trivial seems a bit excessive. And then, considering the arrangements as "from a little Polish dance hall in the suburbs" (even without racking my brain too much, there would have been thousands of more appropriate phrases to describe something that one doesn’t appreciate) I think it's rather excessive. Ehy the Punisher, are you sure you didn't study music by attending some "apprentice plumber substitute course"? Maybe it would be good to understand what an "arrangement of a piece of music" really is before speaking. As for the "trite" material, well that’s just a "baggianata" (with a capital B), since apart from "Romeo And Juliet" and "So Far Away," none of the other tracks appear on any other live albums.
