To be precise (since the review says very little) there are 3 CDs, each with a total length of 54 minutes, for a total of 69 songs divided into three blocks of 23. Not one - I mean not a single one - that is less than beautiful. An incredible state of grace for Stephen Merritt (I never would have thought he could create something like this). Male voices, female voices, practically every existing instrument. Practically every existing musical genre (except metal). Anyone who considers themselves alive cannot help but be moved by a work like this, which required a titanic effort especially for the writing of the lyrics, deep and beautiful, like poems. A girl from Naples wrote her thesis in English on the lyrics of "69 Love Songs" and on the importance of using English in music.

That's enough, I'll set things straight: for heaven's sake, a bit of seriousness. This CD has been included among the top 100 albums in history by the following magazines: Q, NME, The Guide, The Observer (in England), and Mucchio Selvaggio, Blow Up for Italy. Also, let’s add my own opinion, without a shadow of a doubt. This is a work that EVERYONE should be forced to listen to.
