Oh, one more thing: the fact that the boss is getting older is a given, and he needs to think about his retirement too. But raising concert tickets to 100 euros is an affront. I don't believe Bruce is starving, and I don't think 100 euros will change his life. It remains the principle of the matter; I might be too orthodox, but this whole thing gets under my skin. Take that.

Well, it was about time someone thought about this album. As far as I'm concerned, the Boss ran out of inspiration with Tom Joad, and let's put a lid on it. Surely this latest one is better than "The Rising," which personally made me feel a bit queasy, with all that post-9/11 goodwill and how beautiful America is and how strong we are if we all stand together. In "Devils & Dust," there’s more intimacy, it has more acoustic moments, it's more cohesive, although commercially it seems to have resulted in a bit of a flop. Who talked about retirement?

Yo La Tengo Prisoners Of Love

I consider Yo La Tengo one of the most honest and talented bands in the American music scene of the last 15 years, and "And Nothing..." one of the most beautiful albums of the new millennium. A must-have at all costs. There you go!
