Thank you for the advice, Alex... now I just have to wait for the right moment to buy one of their albums! Maybe I'll start with this one...

I only know a few singles by New Order and their second-to-last album...I don’t know why, but I always postpone buying their other albums, even though I'd love to explore more! Honestly, the single "The Perfect Kiss" doesn’t excite me much, so I’ve never considered this album for future purchases; I don’t know why, but I was thinking about "Technique"...what do you think!?

I didn't want to, and I still don't want to, come off as a know-it-all about the situation, especially since I only know Benson's latest work. But it seems he has three albums, the first one dating back to '96 "one missisipi"—I had read about it a while ago in a review, and I just went to double-check it now on allmusic.com. It was purely informative, really nothing personal!
As for the Stripes, I think they started to veer away from "Elephant" with their latest album—fewer electric guitars, marimba, piano, and a bit of a country vibe... sure, nothing groundbreaking, but it's already a sign. Let's see what they come up with alongside Benson; I'm expecting great things!

A truly enjoyable and well-made album, certainly nothing that will make you shout miracle but it contains many beautiful melodies... I think it deserves more success and I hope that the collaboration with White pays off not only in terms of quality! One note, this is his third album...
P.S.: I find elephant and get behind me satan to be very, very different!

Great review, I just would have preferred less "introduction" and more description of the album, for example, the meaning of Ninth Wave... anyway, congratulations, it's really well written, and the album is a masterpiece, although not my favorite of Kate Bush!

It's just a matter of taste; I can understand that many find this album unbearable...I love it, it's dark, deep, visceral...and I'll tell you, on the first listens I didn't even find it that difficult, electronics aside it's always Björk!
Tori Amos Under the Pink

Well, maybe for many it's not cool enough to listen to Tori Amos... on the other hand, it must be said that she is not an artist who has a large following here in Italy, so it's likely that many don't leave comments because they might not know the album in question!

By the way, excuse me, there is so much talk about how these groups don't break into America as if that were a flaw that testifies to their low value (however, it seems to me that lately groups like Kaiser and Ferdinand have received quite a bit of attention from the USA), but have you seen the American charts!? Nowadays, I'd say it's almost a badge of honor not to make it into the Billboard top 100 alongside all that garbage...

Sorry, but what does it matter if they are inflated by the press, if they think of themselves as alternative or frivolous? Judge them or the album!? In the end, it's the album that needs to be judged, and although it doesn’t invent anything, I find it a more than pleasant, well-crafted, and fun record with a lot of catchy songs that are less banal than they seem! Sure, it has some flaws in the arrangements, and they are a bit lacking in choruses (too much la la la for my tastes), but since this is a debut album, it’s normal and fair that it has its imperfections! If they don’t last, it’s tough luck (for them); the album remains what it is!

My favorite Bowie album and perhaps my absolute favorite...great review, but that "pathetic" attributed to Suede and Pulp is a bit unfair! It's true that "Time" is pompous, but I hope you didn't mean it in a derogatory way; for me, it's one of his best tracks from the Ziggy period...the version from the last concert 3/7/73 is fantastic...
