Stevie Wonder Fulfillingness' First Finale
Voto:
One of the most underrated albums ever, no one ever mentions it unfairly; for me, it has nothing to envy from Talking Book! I also rate it a 4.5... so I’ll give it a 5 to get the right average! ;)

Unfortunately, I still haven't managed to find it (just like Laughing Stock), so I think I will order them from some foreign virtual store; it will definitely be worth it... it's absurd that here in Italy certain albums, universally recognized as beautiful (from what I've read), are out of production, while the junk in stores never seems to be lacking, not even the ones from 10 years ago! As for the album in question, I would like to know if the melodies are indeed all whispered or if there are some "openings" a bit more "majestic," like that of Eden from '88.

I understand they may not be to everyone's taste, and we’re certainly not talking about one of the most important and fundamental groups, but to compare them to Limp Bizkit or Good Charlotte really means you’ve never listened to their albums attentively, if only for the "noble" influences from which Placebo have respectfully drawn... As for the fact that a 5 might be excessive, I agree with that too, but star ratings are always something more immediate and "tied to the moment."

Even The Ladder (another fantastic piece) was written with four hands together with the father... or am I wrong!?

Beautiful review and wonderful album, my favorite after Parade... Purple Rain is my song, the one I could listen to endlessly, that always moves me as if it’s the first time, the final part gives me chills non-stop, and the rest of the album is no less!

I also prefer the debut; this one, with a couple of fewer tracks and a different lineup, could have been more balanced and solid... anyway, it's a very enjoyable and fun album. Kapranos is an excellent performer, as demonstrated in "Walk Away" or "Fade Together," in my opinion, great tracks... in short, I think they have class and charisma; let's see if they will last...

Unfortunately, I don't have The Rainbow Children; where I live, it's impossible to find in stores. Should I order it online? The few reviews I've read describe it as a difficult album, so it scares me a bit...
As for the cover, I think it's not ugly; it's certainly unique and well-made (Mondino is one of the best and most important photographers). The issue is that, as the calling card of an album aimed at the masses, it’s at least destabilizing, and for many, embarrassing! The Roxy covers (all stunning to me) were also transgressive (and indeed censored in various countries), but they depicted (semi)nude women, and the female nude is more of a "classic" in iconography. Adding to that, Prince's pose is quite feminine, which creates a significant ambiguous effect... Aside from that, I find that this cover introduces the mood of the album in the best way possible; in my opinion, it aligns well with the content!

Unfortunately, there are still few admirers of Prince, even today as his name is slowly coming back into the limelight after years of oblivion... I must admit that Te Amo Corazon is truly a disappointment; it’s a well-played and arranged track, and being a "latino" song, it’s almost a miracle that it doesn’t sound that clichéd. The problem is that melodically it’s a bit flat, "sitting," in short, it lacks that genius spark... I really hope this is some sort of experiment that Prince wanted to undertake, just as he hinted by saying that the album following "3121" will have a completely different sound!

I messed up the vote on the review... now I’ll give you a 4 so I don’t ruin the average!
PS: but how come everyone sees a connection between blue orchid and 7nation? I find them really different...
