THE REVIEW

If you feel like listening to some good music and dancing like ladies, then "You Could Have It So Much Better" is the right album...

The Scottish Franz Ferdinand offer catchy tracks and, in my opinion, very rock 'n roll (the old kind), leaving their songs with their unmistakable style, highlighting the guitars. Songs like "The Fallen" or "What You Meant" bring back guitar riffs that closely follow the style of the first album. With the beautiful "The Outsiders," FF don't forget their very funky roots (Franz Ferdinand were born to do this style). I would say that with this album, the Scots have indulged themselves with very energetic songs, introducing two ballads (three if you consider "Walk Away"); I find the introduction of the keyboard excellent as it creates the right atmosphere...

I highly recommend this album!!!! Rock'n'Roll!!!!!!!!!!

Franz Ferdinand do not seem to acknowledge the existence of the concept of originality; hence, further proof of their mediocrity.

I listen to the first track 'The Fallen' straight through and just don’t understand what’s even remotely appreciable about it; lackluster melody, repetitive, soulless wholesale pop.

A magnificent work that does not disappoint the expectations of those who had already appreciated their first work.

Franz Ferdinand succeed in amusing and making people cry like the Beatles did 30 years ago, with the same weapons.

The second track, “Do You Want To,” in my opinion, represents the pinnacle of their career, a total blast.

13 tracks to try new indie experiments where the established Franz Ferdinand sound still remains.
