I fully agree with what Cornell and Federock said... of course, you have to be without shame to write such nonsense... considering that Bono deserves 100 lashes every time he opens his mouth, not to sing, and they haven't released a worthy album in about 15 years...

@geb: Do you know American Dad?! That's me! :D Counter-espionage!
No hints, Geb! Let's just say that many years ago I had my suspicions. The confirmation came from a journalist of a "rival" magazine who was quite fond of the Soundgarden... not that this is exclusive to Rumore, quite the opposite! Rumore is a trade magazine that covers a lot of non-mainstream music... now, the music industry in general is in crisis, and the magazine itself is not aimed at the general public, surviving is quite the battle! Favoring and favoritism are rampant; after all, it’s obvious that if you send someone to interview Cornell, you send the one who "goes with a smile on their face," and what do you think the record label’s press office is going to say to you?! ā€œI’m setting you up to meet Cornell (or whoever), grovel at his feet, smile, shine his shoes, no uncomfortable questions, don’t bother him too much, massage his feet then write a nice article!ā€
If you know the magazine, I believe it’s impossible not to have noticed obvious distortions of judgment, blatant flattery, or reviews that are always very diplomatic (ā€œtransitional album; breakthrough album (implied it’s crap); an album that in its lingering allows a glimpse of the delicate light of certain moments (=it’s garbage, only a couple of tracks are worth saving!).
Then keep in mind that editorial lines can change, and I haven’t read Rumore magazine in a while... but what I wrote at the beginning remains the big problem!

Bartolino, why does Paola have it in for you?! I get it, you're a fake of muffinman!!! :D Segaioloooooooooooooooooooo!
Paola, just a curiosity: if I'm not mistaken, you haven't been on the site for long, how do you know (or presume) that skel is cassini and ste90 is the best? But wasn't it giusty? I'm curious...
The album: I haven't heard it and thanks to you and the reviewer, I haven't figured out if it's junk or a gem! All this is very nice... ah, Rumore is a magazine of sellouts paid by record companies to speak well of "certain albums"!

Vortex, don’t delude us, please… Olivieri is someone who has always enjoyed an unbelievable reputation… anyone who has seen him live knows that this reputation is absolutely undeserved, but he could definitely have a career as an entertainer for ladies…

Videomusic (never praised enough... cursed be the day they shut it down) promoted the album a lot, in my opinion a small masterpiece of storytelling in music (arranged so perfectly that it cannot be disconnected from the historical period and the places it refers to)... it seems to me that it reached number one, but it stayed there for very little time anyway... Joe's comment says the rest...

Provocative challenge?! Not at all... no one says that your point of view isn't legitimate so relax and have a chamomile tea... I haven't insulted anyone and I don't think I need to use the debaseriota dictionary (send them flying, you suck javelins)... Honestly, I thought you were referring to sales data... for me, the Grammys mean as much as two in a game of briscola, and I don't see what the fact that RATM perform a song from the album indicates... Tom Joad sold very few copies, calling it highly decorated (for me) is hilarious... it's almost a niche album, if it didn't carry Springsteen's name, probably very few people would know it; already among Springsteen fans, many completely ignore it, better this way, I say... you just keep on reevaluating Human Touch... we really needed that!

The multi-award-winning album attributed to the ghost of Tom Joad is hilarious!

Bravo hell, really great... it has the same flaw/merit for me too... but I liked it anyway, precisely because of its starkness. I won’t say anything about the book: they should make Bunker read it in schools, especially the biography!
