The single was very Radio Oriented with a sweet little riff that made me drop it; I'm listening to the rest now and it's cooler. I have the feeling that they got that little riff thinking, "people want the riff, and we gotta give it to them," even though they had absolutely no intention of picking up the guitars.

I don't know, they were among the listens of my older cousins along with the Bros, Nick Kamen, Jovanotti, Venditti, Europe, Spandau... in short, a lot of crap. I know "Kick" by heart, but my brain relegates it to "the crap I know by heart because they made me listen to it."

In my opinion, you're mistaken; I definitely trust my elementary school self more, and the extremely low level of the music they subjected me to. Repent.
