Thanks to the fuck that you can’t stand it: They played it all the time, continuously. This song perfectly coincides with the arrival of MTV in Italy if I remember correctly, spring 1994. And they played it always, continuously, at least 20 times a day. I really hate it, it completely ruined my balls because of overexposure. The year after, they gave the same great privilege to the Smashing Pumpkins with "Bullet Something," making me hate them too.

<< Gruff, Daniele Gruff, the one from Daisy? >> But wouldn't it have been easier to just open the link?

<< Japan, China, Korea >> But they don't do rap. As far as I know, we have the highest number of adjectives and synonyms among the languages used in rap music. Even DJ Honda (Japanese) was amazed by the translations of our lyrics that conveyed the same message (I'm better than you) in a hundred and twenty-eight different ways. << I'm not crazy about rap >> It shows from the fact that you like Micky Mix.

But still, I urge you to listen to Dj Gruff, because if you don’t know Dj Gruff, you can’t talk about Italian Rap with a clear conscience. As the creator of the most talent-rich scene (Bologna/Milan 1990-1998), he is not someone to leave in your various "I'll listen" lists if you like the proposed genre. Knowing Miky Mix and ignoring Dj Gruff, if the world were governed by Krs One, I believe would be punishable by death (with prior torture) :)

Yes, but I didn't talk about tastes. Lately, I've noticed that on this site, it's hard to have a clear discussion. I spoke about lyricists, and since it's a technical matter, taste doesn't exist; what matters is the ratio of rhymes to beats or rhymes per second (like kilometers per hour), and I'm pretty sure Neffa has been the best overall. Then he can be a genius, a disaster, or mediocre... that's not the point, nor am I interested in having the discussion for the millionth time about "who was the best Italian rapper."

While writing a text, one might come across a sentence that ends with the word "Pigmalione." At that point, how many words can be used? How many rhyming words will connect to the concept of the previous sentence? Now we talk about sets and subsets; apply mathematics to the Italian dictionary (plus any foreign words that fit due to assonance). First of all, make sure not to end the sentence with a word you can't find a rhyme for. Secondly, if you really want to end with that word, then you can tighten the rhythm of the phrases and weave the problematic word into another one immediately following it, maintaining the rhythm and "hiding" the issue. Or, as a last chance, change the accents, thus multiplying the Italian vocabulary tenfold. Frankie Hi NRG might be the greatest musician in the history of music (for argument's sake), but as a lyricist, taken as a pure and simple lyricist—setting aside the question of content—he is nothing compared to giants like Neffa or Gruff. For Neffa, I can show you this: \\\ For Gruff, I would say this: \\\\ You won't understand a thing because it’s about style exercises for purists and lovers of the Italian language. Because we have the richest vocabulary on the planet, and if we know how to use it, there’s no competition.

<< It’s not his fault if he has a similar tone (do you know how many rappers have the same voice..) >> And they’re all poor things, Eminem included. << The lyrics are a bit more playful and "light" compared to Frankie’s, >> To match the vocal tone. << You can’t say Caparezza is crap >> I didn’t write that. I wrote what I wrote. For me, a Miky Mix who reappears all renewed in name, style, and themes right on all the radio and TV with the first single, will never be convincing to me. We’re talking about Miky Mix, the clown of the 90s Rap scene, on par with Articolo 31 and DJ Flash. It’s just that you don’t remember him, Miky Mix. But I have a good memory.

"But built in a lab by whom?" By him. I repeat: to shamelessly imitate Frankie Hi Nrg in themes and Eminem in voice and moves. It's a Product, shamelessly a product crafted so blatantly it’s disgusting. "I can't understand what’s 'constructed' about Caparezza." I re-repeat: to shamelessly imitate Frankie Hi Nrg in themes and Eminem in voice and moves. It's a Product, shamelessly a product crafted so blatantly it’s disgusting. You may not agree, but don't say I didn't explain myself.

<< The mediocre can be recognized by those who think at least a little in the musical field, precisely by the rating they give to Caparezza. >> So now Miky Mix is the benchmark for determining who thinks or not in music. Wow. He's just a poor guy who realized a bit too late that instead of making pop music, it was more convenient to shamelessly imitate Frankie Hi Nrg in themes and Eminem in voice and moves. He’s a Product, shamelessly a product crafted so obviously that it's disgusting. He might have built himself up, but there’s nothing in him, not even a crumb of something that I haven't already seen or heard extensively. He is nothing. Let alone a comparison point.

For me, he’s a poor thing. In every way: as a man, musician, rapper, technique, taste, rhythm, groove, and sound. His best work is definitely in the first album
