I agree... Morgan has enough to say on his own; why resort to the words of others, bordering on the ridiculous? And then Dori, for heaven's sake... that's what strikes me the most, the commodification of the words of deceased artists, and it disgusts me even more if it's the author's partner who "undervalues" them. Double ma... triple ma... Question, when did this album come out? Label?

What a beautiful evening! I would love to see a concert by Xiu Xiu, thanks to Zzzz I discovered them and I really like them a lot. The review is great, perfect, heartfelt and balanced, between emotion and reporting, just the way you do it and the way I like it.... it's just that that "to call her just a woman is reductive" leaves me veeeeery perplexed! Cuin!!! ;)

Sure! It bothers me too when reviews come out before the album is released. Plus, the sound online isn’t true to the original; how can you judge? You can’t evaluate an album without the original sound, MUSIC IS SOUND, sound is everything DAMN IT! (Hey Bleem, it’s not against you, the review itself is good, but this is a discussion - this about the sound - that I’ve been carrying on for a while, and with SOD it’s crucial to hear the original sound, you know!)
