I like it, I don’t overthink this album, and I don’t feel the need to say it’s better or worse than others. The Doors are one of those bands that should be appreciated as a whole without exclusions, imho. If only we had albums like this today, with that alchemical sound (sound, klang), that instrumental looseness (ode to Manzarek)... and in this light, I even understand Soft Parade, there you go. The review was a good read, thank you...
