I humbly apologize for the plagiarism QZ, I hadn't read the post :-))

Yes, but I don't feel like labeling cLOUDDEAD as Rap; they really transcend too many genres. I would simply say they make "cLOUDDEAD" :-)) You know what feeling "Absence" gives me, listened to again after a few months with less eagerness? The beats go one way, the voice goes another ;-) Anyway, one of the most "important" releases of the year, for better or worse.

Yes, but beyond the understanding or not of the lyrics, I think that for a rap enthusiast, a particular mechanism kicks in that a layperson finds hard to grasp; it's a bit of a matter of "getting into the atmosphere," that "If you can't catch the words you can feel the Funk" interpreted in an extensive manner, including the vocal part. I understand them broadly, but the moment Guru, GZA, or El-P's voice comes out of the stereo, I almost lose interest in the meaning of the words. All I need are musicality, metrics, style, and technique to spare ;-)
Slipknot Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses)

Better than "Iowa," but far inferior to the first, which for me remains their top. Rating: 5.5-6/10

Nice album but really too extreme, I prefer "Absence", in my opinion the Rap album of the year tied with "The Mouse & The Mask" by Danger Mouse/MF Doom 😉 However, Dalek does well on the mic, maybe he could push the metrics a bit more given the experimental nature of the musical part, but the musical flow is smooth and the good lyrics are there; sometimes he manages to give the right punch to tracks that otherwise would be really... too much :-)) Bye crazy

I've read worse reviews about Rumore or XL :-))

Self-celebration is the destruction of the self.
Thievery Corporation The Cosmic Game

Yes, this time I agree with you Pun, it's a record far inferior to the previous two, especially "The Mirror Conspiracy," which I consider the peak achieved by the duo in their short (but intense) career.
Björk Homogenic
Voto:
"Homogenic" has never been one of my favorites; I've always found it a transitional work halfway between the "groove" of "Debut" and "Post" and the cerebral experimentalism of the later albums, which I enjoy less (except for "Vespertine"). Nice review anyway ;-) Cheers!

What can I say biro, try to write a less acidic review :-))
