LA RECENSIONE

Madonna is back! After "Ray of Light," an electronic masterpiece, Madonna returns to dance for another masterpiece.
Everything Madonna touches becomes a success. Already previewed by the single "Hung Up," "Confession On A Dancefloor" is a non-stop album with tracks mixed to be listened to one after the other.

The album opens with the aforementioned "Hung Up." Also noteworthy are "Sorry" (future single) and "Jump." But apart from a few, all the tracks are good. However, there is little originality in this album. Madonna drew inspiration from ABBA (sampled for "Hung Up"), Kraftwerk, and Daft Punk... and even from herself!
In some songs, there are sounds we’ve heard before (better to re-listen to The Immaculate Collection). Worth a listen!
