The Cream were a tremendous phenomenon back then; I listened to this live performance on YouTube and honestly, I don't mind the "imperfections" you mention, also because I can listen to perfect studio tracks anytime I want. Besides, to be honest, I don't really care much about categorizing them as "Hard Rock," or "something else." Anyway, great review!
