Eric Clapton Me And Mr. Johnson

Creating a fake profile to protect oneself from others' criticisms. AHAHAHAHAHA cunning and cowardice at the same time! As for the album, well, we're talking about songs that belong to the first chapter of the blues (thus of modern music): namely, pieces that are still very relevant but, inevitably, completely bare in terms of arrangements; therefore, they lend themselves well to being reinterpreted in multiple sound varieties. Clapton pays homage to Johnson by offering a classic blues, naturally of the highest caliber, certainly not the best for those seeking originality (but basically, who cares).

From how you've described it, it sounds like a pure banter between two well-known personalities (who, by the way, I quite like) certainly interested in the topic but with teaching abilities close to zero. Come on, be generous, don't recommend it to beginners!

I don't fully agree with the review, in the sense that Jimmy has one fundamental certainty, which is being a mod. But it's an ephemeral truth that will fade after the various events that will happen to him: the arrests for the incidents in Brighton, the friend who steals his girlfriend, the true identity of his idol Ace as a "Bell Boy," the arguments with his family, his lambretta destroyed in an accident...

It's not a bad album, but one would expect something innovative from a work released in 1983 rather than a repetition of the same metal clichés and endless self-references. Ronnie James Dio is a great icon of undeniable stature, but unfortunately many have only understood (and endlessly replicated) the horn gesture and/or the leather pants.

She is definitely talented, with undeniable singing abilities and knows how to market herself very well. As for her compositional skills, I think that could be up for debate (in my opinion, she could come up with some interesting gems)... but frankly, her first two albums really don't do it for me.
