"Once I had, a little game. I liked to crawl back into my brain. I think you know the game I mean. I mean the game called 'go insane'. / Now you should try this little game. Just close your eyes forget your name. Forget the world forget the people. And we'll erect a different steeple. / This little game is fun to do. Just close your eyes no way to lose. And I'm right there I'm going too. Release control WE'RE BREAKING THROUGH." (A Little Game - The Celebration Of The Lizard)

in soft parade just the shaman's blues is enough to take me to the transcendental state P.S. MARTIN LUT(H)ER KING was a typing error of mine.

Baggio's brace against Real, the 3-0 at Highbury, Adriano's crazy match at Mestalla ... we didn't win a damn thing but what great moments.

Thank you to everyone who participated! This is an album that I have a love/hate relationship with. Thinking about the work it could have been (in numbers: a solid 5 like the first two) I can't fully digest it for what history has gifted us (my rating would be a 3.4999). The exclusion of Love Street happened naturally, in the sense that I found it difficult to focus on the beauty of this piece dedicated to Courson when the entire album is perhaps overly saturated with sentimentality that feels a bit too self-indulgent. The opposite can be said for Not To Touch The Earth (although I prefer the full version), for Spanish Caravan, and for the great but not entirely successful (even according to The Doors themselves) The Unknown Soldier, which stand out for their lyrics, music, and atmosphere. Hello I Love You is truly a blatant plagiarism of the Kinks. For the record, I am a huge admirer of the four from Venice Beach/L.A.... Great comments, nonetheless!

dry and majestic sound, soft and controlled voice, essential instrumentation: I have to have it. (the cover is horrible)

Even though I recognize her as an icon, Marilyn has never excited me in that sense. Just like Elvis figurines or t-shirts with Che's face printed on them don’t thrill me. However, in this photograph, I see captured the image of the person and not the character. So I like it.

... also because (to be honest) the politics that prevailed in Jamaica, and unfortunately is still implemented today by the rastafarians themselves, has always been rather repressive. It’s not a country all about weed and fun; rather, it is quite problematic from both an economic and social perspective. However, this is also where great "singers of freedom" like Robert Nesta Marley were born, the other side of the coin.
