Excellent film, with a great cast and well-developed characters. You can tell it was released a year after Pulp Fiction, with many borderline dialogues (especially the splendid Walken). Buscemi is truly spot on. 4.5

If the 4 had bored me quite early on, I devoured this one. I think it's the absolute masterpiece of this video game generation. I swear that some scenarios literally moved me. The plot and the ending aren’t anything special, but the gameplay is perfect. Ah, Trevor rocks hard.

I read the review. A big mental wank. MGS2 may be everything you say, but a game so narrative that aims to mess with you instead of engaging you has lost from the start, in my opinion. Kojima's genius was in managing to provide an answer (MGS4) to all the unresolved bullshit of this chapter.

Surely the worst chapter of the saga. In terms of gameplay, it's practically an MGS for PSX updated for the PS2, with very few new features. The plot is a messy dead end, the enemies have 1/10 of the charisma of those from the first game, and the encounters with them are hilarious (the fat guy on skates is pathetic). Shall we then talk about Raiden? Better not.
