Alejandro Jodorowsky El Topo
Voto:
A surreal trip almost at the levels of The Holy Mountain. A raw film, yet visually powerful and disorienting (watching a Jodorowsky film for the first time is always disorienting; you never know what will happen in the next scene). Perhaps it drags on a bit too much in the second half, but "too much perfection is a mistake." A cult classic, the shootouts are among the bloodiest ever seen.

"what is undoubtedly a masterpiece of cinema on psychological and pathological themes and sets very high standards in terms of performance and narrative" well, and you give it 4?

I left them a long time ago, but The Downward Spiral remains one of my all-time favorite albums. Thanks to you, I learned a new word: pervicace.

I took advantage of the holidays to rewatch the trilogy. For me, the first one remains an unbeatable masterpiece.
Danny Boyle Trance
Voto:
Disjointed thriller that borrows ideas from Inception and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, only to conclude with an absurd and truly implausible twist. It reminded me of Sunshine for the way the cards are constantly shuffled, so randomly, resulting in a film that ultimately lacks a solid turning point. Another misstep from Boyle.

You've convinced me, I'm looking for it.
