Simmons is an exaggerated character actor. The rest is: ridiculous, boring, aesthetically flat to the point of being disgusting (the monotony of the photography is embarrassing; it’s certainly not helped by a particularly varied script, but come on, did they also hire the director of photography from a TV series from the early '90s?) Bartle accuses it of being a misunderstood film when compared to Rocky, but then emphasizes how the ultimate meaning of the film and its ending is the protagonist's victory over his own limits (...Rocky raising the bar of his own glory horizons tying with Apollo, who in the end didn't give a damn about Rocky, he didn’t want the title, he wanted to prove to be better than he seemed).

For me, the film was utterly awful; I had only read enthusiastic comments and found myself facing an alarming joke. Probably if it hadn't been for all the noise surrounding this movie, it wouldn’t have bothered me as much, I would have found it a film without art or substance but still with the merit of presenting an old genre in an alternative light. And I would have forgotten it in three days.

I confused you with someone else for like six months, who knows what the hell I was thinking when I was talking to you about things I was actually discussing with another person. (And who knows what you understood from what I just wrote). Anyway, I've read the entire review, I don't like them, so I won't dwell on their merits. The review is at least a duplicate, but if I remember correctly, compared to the others, it still tries to offer a different interpretation of the value of the work and the work itself.

So you get a "Bellabene!" But then this beautiful idea falls apart in the introduction and you also get a "èunafaticadell'ostialeggerlatuttas tapagina" because the rest of the page is a track by track, and the track by track sucks. So everything’s fine, just avoid turning a good idea into a list of songs.

The game that interested me the most from the last console generation never came out; it might be released this year. The only title that intrigued me from the new generation has been canceled... Kojima has never been my favorite, and now he really gets on my nerves. Of course, it's clear that at Sony they've been doing things quite randomly lately. A whole lot, actually.
