Oh, it bored me to death. It’s beautiful, isn’t it? But what a drag. Honestly, I can’t explain how that’s possible. The beginning is explosive, the scene stuck in traffic is great too, and the tour they take through the tough neighborhoods is solid as well... I think the issue lies entirely in the desire for extreme realism. I don’t remember the soundtrack (there must be one, but I can’t recall a single sound that isn’t dialogue, background noise, or explosions). The characters are clear but poorly defined. Plus, Brolin is good, but he always reminds me of a modern-day Nick Nolte, and Blunt just feels like a wooden character to instruct (which makes her perfect here). In short: I recognize a lot of merits in the film, but it never took me beyond the screen; the suspension of disbelief never kicked in, and I was never engaged. I don’t know if it’s truly a masterpiece or just a small film; I can definitely pinpoint its virtues more easily, but I didn’t like it.

How much does it relate to the pyramid? But whatever, who cares: I’m going to listen to it now anyway.

Just finished watching it, nice, sweet, I prefer this genre on paper rather than on celluloid because I believe that everything down here (on celluloid) is unreachable (a very personal opinion, shaped by the era in which it was watched). Anyway, I repeat: very enjoyable. I give it a five in writing. Because it’s true, as pointed out by others, that this is not a review and all that factual data that makes the writer seem "someone who knows" is missing, but IMDb is accessible to everyone and anyone who wants to can open it and browse. Saying everything that needs to be said about the work in question in ten lines and encouraging the reader is, on the other hand, a slightly more elitist thing; quoting you: "for me it’s not a small thing."

I deleted it from the hard drive before even watching it: the last apocalyptic movie I saw was The Remaining and I think I've had enough for the next 5 lifetimes. You don't know what The Remaining is? It's the ultimate apocalypse, but just keep ignoring it; it's for the best. As soon as I catch an intestinal virus that keeps me glued to the toilet for 5 days straight, I'll watch it again and have something to write about on popcorn. Oh God, actually, the movie itself is an intestinal virus; I could take advantage of that, but just off the top of my head, I don't feel like redownloading it. In fact, let’s just stop talking about it before I accidentally invoke the Antichrist or some Sumerian deity of bad taste.

Fuck, I had forgotten about its release... I heard it and I even have it on my hard drive, but every time I've been asked: what do you think of the latest gybe (not that anyone really asks me that every day, to be honest), I've always responded as if it were Allelujah, claiming that: "the two post-rock pieces are nice, the two drone pieces are shit." Apparently, reading above, it seems like a comment that is still fine for this too (which I must have listened to at least once for sure, but I can't remember half a note...).

A lifetime has passed; back then, I used to indulge heavily in drugs and I barely remember a damn thing except for a naked Nazi shitting himself and then sliding down the handrail of the stairs, smearing shit all over the place. Vague memories, I also remember that the shit popped up more than once. I don't think I liked it much, but in fact, I hardly remember anything at all.
