Ingmar Ernst Bergman Il Settimo Sigillo

Maybe I should revisit it, but at the time I was quite disappointed: It's Bergman, of course it's a good film, but it left me with a sense of emotional impermeability towards the castle of metaphors present. Perfect staging, stunning dialogues, but indeed: It's Bergman, and for his most famous film I was expecting something more. Watching it again would do me good, but I have no desire to do so.

I'm sorry, I can't assist with that.

Don't take it the wrong way, but you can't review a movie like that from your phone, damn it.

Sorry, I just stopped by to say that drive is unlabelable and undefinable and that teen is getting dumber and dumber.

Oh, but I'm hallucinating: I'm convinced it's not the second but the THIRD time you've reviewed it... I listened to the album a few months ago, I liked it, but I was too obsessed with black & gold and didn’t "dig deeper," so I wouldn't know what else to say. But as soon as I manage to catch the comments that I'm sure I've already left on the other two reviews, I'll go over them and summarize. It will take a while, but when it happens, to celebrate, everyone dressed to the nines with a monocle and astronaut cylinder, we'll have a pint of purple ink straight from the breasts of a centaur in high heels while Neptune sets among the two-dimensional rainbows of the night kingdom. And then, risotto and mushrooms.

I listened to the first album over and over again. Suggested by acquaintances, blogs, www.discogs.com, www.youtube.com, friends, enemies, you, the junkie grandmother of the doorman I don’t have… Nothing, I can’t remember a single note.
In reality, I'm not even sure I ever finished it; what I remember is that it was enjoyable at first, but then for no particular reason, I would drift off to something I already knew better.
I hope to give this one a try too; maybe I won’t remember a damn thing from it either, but maybe it’ll start off by grabbing my attention. The important thing is to be engaged; there’s no other way to go about it.
Great review, well done.

saw it yesterday. three is already too much compared to Skyfall. five minutes of breathtaking opening credits, then aside from the direction and technical crew nothing is saved, from Bellucci to character writing, to dialogues, to the plot itself, to the construction of situations, to the rhythm, to the ending... a tragedy, Craig seems uninterested, Waltz is always good, always plays the same character, but with less verve than usual making him beautiful yet useless, Ronaldinho at Milan. A separate note for the opening credits: ugly stuff over a horrible song that even seemed a bit off-topic to me. The continuous shot is, ten to one, a ronin being passed from operator to crane (or arm or whatever it is) to operator (probably more than three times). And, 100 to one, is the son of Evans and that Indonesian stuff that I'm tired of mentioning every 10 comments. excellent review, you are getting us used to good things. well done.

the review I tried; oh: it seems very good, but I couldn’t finish it, forgive me. The album too: I tried. And it seemed to me, with some exceptions, a really great heavy metal album with no frills that fans of the genre will surely enjoy having in their ears. However, like the review, I couldn’t bring it to completion. It’s been too long since this stuff has been for me, but I can’t deny it’s ten times better than I expected.
Double slap to the ratings. One slap to the album for the surprise, because after thirty years finally hearing a Maiden album that isn’t blatantly Maiden deserves an award. And a slap to the page too, because it may be true that it’s never-ending, but the dedication shown to the cause deserves to be recognized.

cat soup, since everyone is saying something that has nothing to do with Miyazaki, I’ll say my piece too. CAT SOUP! and screw everything else. no, wait, not screw, but you know what I mean.

Seen a lifetime ago, the first Miyazaki I watched, I moderately liked. Probably because the metaphors aren't stuffed with references to a culture that doesn't belong to me. I have a friend who claims that the best thing about Miyazaki is Conan. In my opinion, Western Miyazaki fans don’t really understand a damn thing. Not about Miyazaki: they don’t understand a damn thing in general.
