what I heard I really liked very little. then I heard even less, but that’s a problem for those distributing the record, focusing entirely on enthusiastic reviews at the expense of the only thing that truly matters: the music. of this record, all that’s available is one track and a preview. we’re in 2016, if after 20 years of making music you still haven’t figured out that the first thing you need to do to hope to survive is to get your music out to as many eardrums as possible, maybe you’re in the wrong line of work. no offense, but the lack of material available online is embarrassing. oh my: I don’t use Spotify; maybe the whole album is there in case I take back three-quarters of what I wrote.

Regarding the value of the album: I don't know. I haven't listened to it in ages. The other day I was rewatching *Incontriamoci a Las Vegas*, and there's a breakbeat track when the meeting starts that reminds everyone how awful the genre could be. No, today, listening to what has survived, it seems like it was all an incredible trip.
Then I just checked, and the track was by Moby too. From *Play*, which was one of my favorite synth albums until I started immersing myself regularly in the synth stuff. I liked it, I liked the photography (the film, of course, helps), I liked Phenix who manages the unlikely task of not becoming "the drugo Vol 2", I liked the soundtrack. It left me a bit annoyed that there’s no happy ending, and dang, it’s all so exhausting that a little smile at the end would have been nice, but the final sequence is so beautiful that it’s fine anyway. I liked that they’re from the seventies where the flower children are the flip side of Manson and the amphetamine-fueled Nazis.
