Diego Librando Il Jazz a Napoli dal dopoguerra agli anni Sessanta

@cpt they are not simpletons, it's true, but they are not simple either, they are WORKERS. This is something that can be said about few people present on this site; otherwise, the outrage would have been felt.
I repeat, WORK elevates MAN. It’s not a cliché, it’s a reality.

I won't express my opinion on the discussion because I couldn't care less, without offending anyone. Instead, I find the comment 37 pitiful, shameful, and a product of terrible ignorance, when the noble figment, in an attempt to insult his interlocutor, tries to humiliate him by saying that he works cleaning butts. Noble figment, Mr. CPT, seems to have understood how to be a nurse. When your mother or father are old and end up in the hospital, agonizing (as late as possible), I sincerely hope they find someone to clean the shit that the illness, after having battered their bodies, will cause them not to be able to retain. I pray to God that there are always people who do that kind of work. It's more noble to handle shit than to count money or fill your mouth saying, "I am a lawyer" (you know how much that's really needed in Italy, by the way). To be a lawyer, all you need is a father with a degree; everyone is capable of handling money, but handling shit is a bit less common. You, for example, given your comment, I would say you wouldn’t even know how to change your child's diaper (which I hope you’ll only have after maturing a bit more than you are now). I also find it shameful that, except for Larrok, no one has said anything on the matter. Excuse me, ignorance drives me crazy. Please continue.

No Kosmo, I'm not radical chic. But I do enjoy eating well, exploring places where they start cooking the dish you ordered at the moment you place the order (slow food), and I appreciate good wine (which, yes, costs). I don't see why this should make me a radical chic, a casually left-leaning person, which is still better than being indifferent, or someone who goes on vacation sailing to exotic places. Furthermore, feeling annoyed by people who vacation in expensive places strikes me as a clear sign of frustration. If it's not, then better. But my opinion doesn't change; as you say, Ash, I am free to express my opinion.

"@kosmogabri: 'If I had to say which category of people particularly annoys me, I would undoubtedly say the radical-chic. Those people, ‘casually’ to the left, who seem to have nothing better to do than indulge in exotic travels, solitary sailing trips, unknown itineraries on the slow-food path and expensive fine wines.' In this sentence, I find: arrogance, and rudeness. I also find ignorance and impoliteness. Perhaps signs of frustration?"

I can indeed. There are opinions and opinions. Thoughtful opinions and opinions expressed just to swim against the tide. PS: opinions are expressed, they are given, but they are not made :) (a little annoying comment that apparently needs to be thrown in from time to time on Debaser) :D No hard feelings.

@axel I didn't say he's a living legend. I said that critiquing his interpretation and not recognizing that it's masterful seems out of place to me. @larrok: no, he wasn't unreachable, Ledger proved that. And he's gone.

eletto: oparadiso+ hell is the worst drug movie ever made. terrible
for the rest, I would agree with you. except of course for the fact that you think he did better than in batman. watch it again because performances of that kind can be counted on the fingers of ONE hand in the last 50 years. the only better one that comes to mind is Al Pacino in panic in needle park (which, if you like drug movies, I recommend, it's a must-see).
