Brad Anderson Session 9

Good job! One observation though, the man without sleep isn't all that great; if you've already seen Fight Club, you'll understand everything after 15 minutes of the movie. At least that's how it was for me.

I haven't even read it yet, but just for the recommendation, giving you a high five is a must! Now I'll head back upstairs, read it, and then I'll come back to tell you what I think. PS anyone who loves tension-filled movies, Silent Hill, sick atmospheres, and hasn't seen this film yet should get it as soon as possible.

Dead Kennedys Bedtime For Democracy

@NOSE: Can you explain what the dictatorship of the people is? The name is disturbingly fascinating. My question, however, wasn't meant to find a solution but to reflect on the fact that maybe democracy, when it works, is as utopian as anarchy. It's certainly not a beautiful phrase, but damn, if being democratic means having Borghezio in parliament (no nose, diocane, Borghezio is never capitalized :) ) and Calderoli can make decisions that affect the entire country, it's clear that it's not functioning too well, in my opinion...

I would like to ask a question, perhaps provocative, to which I myself do not have an answer: in a world where culture is buried by television, to the point where "culture" is defined by television, where it's no longer important to be intelligent but to appear so, where ignorance is no longer a cause for indignation but rather a starting point for success, is democracy really the best form of government? Let me explain: today, democracy no longer simply means "power to the people" but primarily means "power to ignorance." Our Prime Minister, Borghezzio, Calderoli, Mussolini, Carfagna, La Santanchè, the former President Bush, the total incapacity of the Italian opposition to create anything concrete—these are all clear confirmations of this. Or are they not? I know that we want to talk about HC here, but could it be that this title suggests it is time to consider a new method of governance?

I just listened to it, dislikes and deductions aside, Vasco has never sung this badly.

Anyway, Panapp and Matacà, I believe you're misunderstanding each other: Panapp, Matacà wants to know which cartoon has impacted you so much; he’s not interested in hearing about the soundtrack. At least, that’s how I understood it...
