Agreed on everything with Desade except for one thing: some cute horrors have come out recently: Rec, Diary of the Dead (by Romero, which unfortunately wasn’t released in Italy, but you can find it on the torrent with subtitles), and... and... well yes, maybe you’re right, horror isn't in a good place right now. PS. For what you said about "The Ring," you have all my deamore.

I watched the first two or three episodes. Then I was told that in the second season they escaped... but what’s the point of a prison TV show if the main characters are out of jail??? I believe that series, from Lost to Gossip Girl, from The O.C. to The Reaper, suffer from issues related to success: if a show is successful, the production orders more seasons, thus forcing the writers to revise their initial ideas that were meant for the perfect development of the plot. LOST, for example, was conceived as a three-season show that eventually became six. Of course, the writers had to change some things and add others, thus modifying the original idea in accordance with market demands.
