@dopesmoker: obviously, Naples is better stocked than Milan, or I don't know where the hell to go to find the aforementioned CDs in my city. @panico: you're right, it's probably because trying to gather information about this album has tied up the few neurons I have left.

"Forgive me, the average user of the site, if I go a bit deep, using language that's not exactly 'bar talk,' favored by some even in the comments," Dear our delorenzo, bar talk is the only thing you deserve. I read that the punisher (a user of the site, as you may know) was reported by an unidentified singer due to one of his reviews; it would be amusing if Travaglio, who I imagine has better things to do in life, were to visit this site and report her for defamation... Let me point out that you really missed the mark here: Your ramblings are just provocation, so how could you have overlooked "We love Silvio"? That would have been a text worthy of your reviews; you surely would have made a better impression there.

After four months of listening, I can also deny my maybe and emphasize that Holy Mountain and Dopesmoker are better than the Om period. The only thing I prefer is the song At Giza (it goes without saying that anything from Om and Sleep, for me, is worthy of being listened to for months on end, but Holy Mountain has brainwashed me and I don't count, so).

Donnie, look, I've already been to see it and I actually liked it. As for the talk about the screenplay, I’d say it’s pretty silly to even discuss it. Anyone who went to see it already knew (thanks to the enormous advertising campaign in the three months prior) everything about the plot. If someone was disappointed, it means they've been living on Mars for the last three months.

@mr wolf: Shelter from di has to start is perfectly fine, I agree. I feel like recommending School of the Flower to you to start, and also the latest Luminous Night might be right for you. This one is definitely more challenging, and if you haven't ever heard Six Organs, I would strongly advise against it (not because it's of lower quality, just due to the "difficulty" in listening: except for the last two tracks on the second CD, all the others last no less than 17 minutes, which could make it a bit heavy, but this is actually entirely subjective). @psycho: Well, I agree, but it's a pity that I couldn't find Six Organs in any stores in Italy, and I believe that if you’re able to get the records in a "direct" way, it’s hard to really bond with them (to the medium as such, not to the proposed music), so if I find them in the shops that's great; otherwise, long live the mp3 (I couldn't find them even in Berlin, where I did manage to get the first Witchcraft). @panico: Did you know? I'm glad, but why didn’t you say it then? Pogoing to Om? No comment... might as well pogo with Windy & Carl.

I seemed to remember that you considered stoner a huge drag and that having just two Kyuss albums was enough to be fine; if my memory is faulty, mea culpa. If, however, I remember correctly, I’m happy you changed your mind. A good review in stoner style with desert machines and all the rest. The name of the band/singer and the cover are so funny that you can't say no to a listen (I just don't know when I'll manage to hear them... in the meantime, I'm trying to catch up).

If you say you love Cinema, which for me doesn't just mean loving films, but also means taking time for yourself, stepping out of the house and wandering around your city with the destination being a cinema, where you go to see the film that interests you, it means loving the darkness of the theater and the buzz that gradually turns into silence, it means loving the little lights on the edge of the steps inside the theater... etc... (of course, all this can be subjective, but if you love cinema, and that is objective, you love watching a film in a screening room, and not on your couch at home, which is still enjoyable and often a forced choice). And if you already wanted to see this film, why did you watch it earlier on a 20-inch screen??? You were going to see it at the cinema anyway (at least that’s how I understood it), what’s the point of ruining the surprise in front of a Mac? This is what I wanted to understand, I hope I’ve been clear, but maybe I haven’t, I don’t know, you’re not the only one with age-related issues :)

"Giving a 5 to an album like this is already a failure from the start" yes, but giving it a 2.5 is also an exaggeration.
