The Depeche Mode are the mainstream group I prefer. Without ifs or buts. That said, it should be added that they weren't the pioneers of electronics; perhaps Kraftwerk are less electro pop and more electro-just-because, making them more suitable for that title, although maybe even they aren't the true pioneers... Moreover, in addition to the already mentioned MFTM and BC, I also prefer "Playing the Angels," an album that I’m not afraid to point out as perhaps the highest point of their entire career (and it was released after twenty-five years in the business, when mainstream and quality still go hand in hand), which unfortunately can't be said about the latest "Sounds."

Never heard of it. I don't like Battisti, but I do like the review, so I will try to give it a listen.

Then after insulting my family and threatening me, what do you expect? That I won't stop by to greet you every time and share my thoughts on your reviews?

You didn’t want the truth, you didn’t want to be told you wrote something foolish? You could have spared yourself this deliberately provocative line, "Do you know what another fact is?" because before, no one had provoked you in the slightest... Do you really enjoy shooting yourself in the foot?

"but you are a great pain in the ass" because I express judgments on a review, on a site where everyone talks about reviews??? maybe it's not clear to you where you are...

Yes, the first line you wrote is bullshit. But I didn't want to tell you that so brutally because I know you'll start insulting and provoking now since you have nothing better to do...

"I don't like to attribute the birth of post-hardcore to Fugazi, nor to Jesus Lizard (as much as I might like them), their distortions are too light. Better Helmet at this point, but as far as my musical tastes go, Neurosis fits in perfectly. Panic at the Disco, something might or might not appeal to you, that's fine, but the fact that Fugazi were post-hardcore is a fact, the fact that post-metal and post-hardcore are not the same thing is another fact, and finally, the fact that Neurosis play post-metal and not post-hardcore is yet another fact."

I don't vote to avoid another pointless discussion, but the fact that Neurosis first played hardcore and then post-metal doesn't make post-hardcore and post-metal the same genre. Moreover, as you said, post-metal is a genre that developed in the 2000s, but post-hardcore originated in the '80s. Fugazi is perhaps the best post-hardcore band in the world; they formed in '87 if I'm not mistaken, and they have very little to do with post-metal. As for how this album sounds, whether it's post-hardcore, post-metal, or whatever, I don't know because I've never heard it. I'll try to start from the beginning.
