However, personal experience has proven that it isn’t as general a statement as the one I quoted here, but rather as I explained in the review. You talk about classism and prejudice: I’ve listened to power for years, I’ve listened to death and melodic for years, I’ve worn metal band t-shirts for years, I read Bram Stoker’s Dracula because it was very black trendy, I still own almost the entire discography of Cradle of Filth with all the respective limited editions, I used to arrive 40 minutes early at my trusted record store (Mariposa Duomo, for the Milanese interested) so as not to risk missing the record I wanted. I’ve had booklets signed by Helloween, Blind, Dark Tranquility, Cradle of Filth... etc... etc... So to answer you: I love young metalheads, I was one and I’m happy to have been one, and if I could go back, I would do it again. However, I was a loser. It’s not classism, it’s healthy self-criticism and self-irony. Prejudices??? Judgments made after the fact by someone who has lived a certain reality to the fullest... @den: "You’re a hard-boiled egg; I eat people like you for breakfast. Scrambled with four strips of bacon, a long coffee, a glass of orange juice, and three slices of toast with butter." You can’t scramble a hard-boiled egg, you fool. :)
