Sergio Leone Per Qualche Dollaro In Più

What a fucking idiot I am. You’re right! I don’t know how, I read "for a fistful of dollars" and thought of "the good the bad and the ugly"... :)
Yes Tales From Topographic Oceans

"guided in the massacre of good taste" oh yes, prog often falls into that baroque bad taste worthy of Tony Montana. (I’m sure you understand what I mean? No, right? ...)

I don't get it: do you think this one is better than "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" because Lee Van Cleef is in it? But who do you think plays the bad guy in the third film of the Dollar Trilogy? Mara Maionchi? :)

Yearning Merging Into Landscapes

Look, I understood perfectly; the spies were a joke (are we sure it’s me pretending not to understand?). I'll repeat the question stripped of all irony: Should your mother be placed under the supervision of some state authority? And above all: would it be necessary?

"One must keep an eye on the foreigner," sorry but aren't you the one with the Belgian mother? What, do you have spies outside the door to make sure your mother doesn’t cause any trouble? And above all, do you really think it’s necessary?
Sofia Coppola Somewhere
Voto:
"Somewhere is a shoegaze film (like all the works by this director)..." Let's avoid using random adjectives "now I don't know if the term shoegaze actually fits to describe this film, but for The Virgin Suicides, it's the only acceptable one, and it works for Marie Antoinette too. I give it a 5 just for this line... I must be a fool."

George A. Romero Land of the Dead
Voto:
The film is an allegory of September 11, and a film about the reasons for terrorism (if it even existed...). Is it possible that I’m the only one who noticed this??? You cannot review this film without mentioning September 11... Sorry. I didn't even know Diary of the Dead had been dubbed: I watched the last two works of Romero with subtitles... and anyway, the last one, "Survival of the Dead," is really awful. "Diary..." is an excellent denunciation of media censorship instead.
