Do you want a serious comment about the album? You didn't like my comment: "If the review had started like this 'genre: transgender rock,' you would have become my new idol. Right away." Okay. From what I've heard in the posted link, the band only promises rivers of foul-smelling brown sludge sometimes called diarrhea. Do you want me to be even clearer and less sarcastic? panapp I have an otaku friend (in the good sense) who enjoys costumes and cosplay. Do you really think a girl like that wouldn't know someone like sisen? And do you think that knowing I like all kinds of music she wouldn't have shown or played it for me? And given that he/she is such a tamarro/a, do you really think I forgot about him/her or that I didn't dig into the songs available online? You surprise me, young fox :) and I stick to my point: I prefer Boris, Yellow Magic Orchestra, Flower Travellin' Band (and I could continue with Church of Misery, Acid Mothers Temple, etc.) to X Japan (a band obviously idolized by my friend as well), and even DJ Sisen (maybe he is an exaggeration). This is to say that you don't necessarily have to seek out the material that Japan churns out for otaku to find records and CDs that can be appreciated by us Italians: Japan is a small powerhouse of talented musicians, as well as some crafty people who dress as if they live in the world of manga, which often have little to do with music (like Dir en Grey or, indeed, X Japan). In the end, it's always a matter of taste.
