What the hell is that hieroglyph supposed to represent with the two tildes separated by an underscore?

I advise the author to continue with the track by track, to use words like "sublime," "magnificent," "exemplary," "absolutely the best..." etc. I would suggest reading the metal reviews of: starblazer, creative, and korn: they were the best metal reviewers on the site, and now they're gone, and their absence is deeply felt.

5 cornerstones for this review that I would dare to say is "a calling of the Devil."

A pointless note: classifying Cynic as a prog metal band seems reductive to me; on the other hand, I wouldn't know what else to add either. Maybe

Five to the review because it's right to reward those who admit a mistake, as the workhorse up there points out. However, I still believe that if the cynics had kept quiet after Focus, I would remember them with more enthusiasm. I don’t vote for the work because it’s not that it’s a bad album. It's simply a useless album (for me, obviously).

@trago: the flower travelin' band sounds like '60s (and a bit of '70s too, right?) maybe because the song I linked to you is from 1971 :) and even the yellow magic orchestra is not exactly a recent group (1978). It’s understandable if the Boris haven’t caught your attention, but keep in mind they're a band that experiments like crazy: I bet you’ll like this one (please don’t make me suffer) unfortunately it’s just a taste (one minute and fifty seconds out of nearly seven minutes of the song), I couldn't find it on YouTube except for some recorded live performances that suck.
@panapp: unfortunately (without any offense towards you, let it be clear) the visual aspect doesn’t touch me at all. I couldn’t care less about how this people dress. what’s certain is that dir en grey make ridiculous music (with all due respect to tragopano), they seriously experiment (for better or worse):

"Do you have to read only brutal metal reviews?" God save us! :) And the atmosphere here is always very lighthearted. Not much seriousness, Andriy. If you hope to become a "serious" reviewer, you've come to the wrong site. If, on the other hand, you were looking for a place to write occasionally and discover new music, then you're in one of the right spots. Maybe not the best for sure, but Debaser does its dirty work.
