The overall work of SP far surpasses the total work of The Simpsons. Starting from the tenth season, The Simpsons are garbage (tragically true... but console yourselves: even the first six seasons of The Simpsons can’t be surpassed by Mourinho's Inter playing 11 against 5). South Park continues to improve over time (for now). I do not agree with the choice of the reviewed episode. In fact, I disagree with the idea of reviewing a particular episode. Nonetheless, the review is quite readable. (The rating goes to South Park as a whole, not to the episode in question.)

For a TV product, it seemed more than fair to me. As for how it compares to the book, I have no idea: I've never read King, and if I had to start, I think I would begin with Stand by Me. (Of course, giving IT a 5 is crazy.)

I almost forgot: the movie is nice, but the lack of conclusion is a bit of a letdown: I got the impression that I had watched the opening chapter of a larger work (oh my god, yet another trilogy??? Let's hope not).
