If you don't know anything else by jesu, before moving on to iroha, I suggest you try one at random among "conqueror," "silver," "jesu," and "heart ache." I say that by listening to one, you'll also get the other three back.

"conoscu"; "piùmpallida"; "ormaicollaudata"; ALL'HANNO"; "black galaxy remix" (they are called black galaxy...)... no comment. And I imagine there are others.

I don’t know the album with Jarobe, but I do know an album with Jarobe by Neurosis; it didn’t seem bad to me... Anyway, it’s irrelevant. Yes, Psycho is Justin from Jesu, here in the role of sound engineer though. (I think; I have no idea what “curare la fase di mastering” means.) Lastly, what do you mean by Jesu? Infinity or the Dethroned EP? I think the Dethroned EP is the best work released since Sundown Sunrise and Conqueror (not by chance, it’s not a new album but a reworking of tracks dating back to 2004). If instead you’re talking about Infinity (or, even worse, the Christmas EP), I can only agree with you: Justin with his Jesu seems to have completely lost his inspiration, and for four years he seems to be relying on a formula that is now tested but totally sterile. It’s true that if he stopped releasing 2 or 3 EPs or splits a year, maybe he would manage to find a new creative vein. Anyway, if the Jesu project gave you unexpected erections, I recommend checking out the eponymous one by Irhoa: it’s the project of a former Final. Metal shoegaze with a clear Jesu influence. By the way, it’s a double CD. The first one contains the actual album, while the second features the same songs remixed by: Justin K. Broadrick, Jesu, Black Galaxy Remix, and these Transitional. In short, another work blessed by JKB but played by others (which seems to me the best way to “listen to” the former Napalm Death). Give it a try and let me know. For me, so far, it’s the album of 2011.

Broadrick handled the mastering phase: * * * * * Transitional * * * * * | TheSirensSound it is indeed stated here that this is their first album. In reality, they already released a CD back in '98: iTunes - Music - Not Even the Most Condescending form of Noblesse Oblige - EP by Transitional Touched sounds cool at first listen.

Copied? The transitional ones were born in '99, the nadja in 2003... Touched is coming down. You Are Dust isn’t that bad, they’re better than I remembered even though I still struggle to digest the growl, but I still hear little of the transitional ones: I find them too heavy and too little “suspended” (what a shitty phrase) to be compared to these.
