"The Sham Mirrors" or "La Masquerade Infernale" I'm not familiar with. I'm not saying it resembles "kveldssanger," rather... it seemed indebted to those clean vocals that were prominent during melodic death, probably influenced by power (not that melodic death singers suddenly sang "high" when they weren't "growling" (yeah, what a fun word, have you ever growled? I tried once and my epiglottis still hurts...) but it's undeniable that from Stanne (he can do whatever the hell he wants, just to be clear... but only him) onwards - and maybe even before, but I ignore that - the theatrical melodic component has been quite present in metal (90s/early 2000s). Of course, it can be enjoyable; I just find it a tad repetitive, and what you call "personal" sounds to me more like "canonized."

"You can't even say that you tried!" In fact, I found the singing unbearably mediocre. I mean, it made me sick... I was there listening to it (hoping for another perdition city) and I kept asking myself: "But why, why???"

Of them, I have: kveldssanger, bergatt, and perdition city. I found this one too indebted to metal (especially for the vocals, often from unbearable melodies, always unnecessary; if this album had been purely instrumental, it would have gained in every way). That being said, I listened to this half a time, so my judgment can't be complete, but I must say that by the halfway point of the album, not only had the music stopped, but it also ended up in the bin, which had never happened with them before.

"They see a creature, which no one knows what it is, and they don't ask where it comes from" they don't ask where it comes from??? Then Lost is bullshit, I agree, but as someone has already said, if I want to watch something on TV that isn't bullshit, I only have National Geographic or Rai Storia left (or The Shield, as long as your brain doesn't automatically kick in with a "God, again? Come on, same old bullshit).

I almost forgot. Boris is the most beautiful thing produced by Italian TV in the last 20 years. Unfortunately, it can't hold up to the duration of a movie; it's certainly better than a lot of stuff being done in Italy, but thank God for a few years now, Italian cinema has been more than just cinepanettoni.

series that don't lose their charm? Life on Mars (which, being only 2 seasons, made it hard to lose its charm). Unfortunately, one needs to catch up on the original episodes since in Italy all of them were released cut by 20 minutes and - as if that weren't enough - they are poorly dubbed. For anyone interested, here are the first 10 minutes of the first episode.

"presupposes a supposed racism of mine towards the Romanian people" but really? are you an eagle! All in all, I'm starting to believe you when you identify yourself as a former police officer, you know. I have no idea how much my friend earns. He's a friend; why should I keep tabs on him? And especially, why do you want to? Tell the truth, that sentence served you to say that his wife does ironing... my grandmother used to do that too, and she's Italian, think about it. Happy Easter to you, your wife, and the kids.

"but let's keep these Bedouins to ourselves!! Otherwise, who will the news bulletins blame? ... the types of things you usually offer don't interest me at all and I've never read you... a serious, very serious mistake, now I'm going to read your complete works."

"as the Romanian who cleans our stairs has also acknowledged." I have a Romanian friend who works as a caretaker/cleaner in a couple of buildings in Milan. The other day during an aperitif, he confessed to me that he is sleeping with the wife of a former policeman. You don't know anything about Delorenzo?
