"Something debatable but sacred, for heaven's sake, if there hadn't been the "speech" about the "slices of salami" beforehand." A speech that wouldn't have happened if I hadn't read that if you hate this album, you should go somewhere else and land on Ondarock. "A little ironic jab of mine." Well done, we could come up with some too, or do you hold the monopoly? /// "In any case, I believe you wouldn't have a bad time on Ondarock ;-) but for what I've been experiencing with DeB these months, honestly, I don't care." Thank goodness you don't care because we've been at this for 24 hours... /// "One last thing: I (almost) never waste time, don’t compare me to you... for heaven's sake. Regards." But for heaven's sake, really, when did I ever compare you to me? I just said we both waste time. But we are not the same; I am aware I do it, while you apparently are not.

"Then you are still free to think whatever you want" thank goodness, for a moment I thought I had to leave on a rock wave./// "which, by the way, usually they can't even quote which ones they would take out because they stopped at a single listen" and thanks for nothing, if something bores you and you don't like it, why pick it up again? For what reason? Masochism or something else?/// "but if you don’t care what others think, what are you doing here?" It's not that I don't care at all. I see debaser (among other things) as a source to draw inspiration from, but it's undeniable that 80 percent of reviews are written by those who loved the album they're reviewing. This makes (sometimes, of course) the reviews less objective. So knowing that there are 3 reviews that give it a 4 and one that gives it a 3 doesn't really impress me much. Generally, I find the scores and opinions expressed in the comments (which is what makes debaser what it is, by the way) more interesting. Another reason for immense fun that keeps me on debaser is that when asked "but what are you doing here," I can respond "what are you doing here: I'm wasting some time."

Hobo with a Shotgun is not just a notch above. It’s how a trash film should be: zero budget, rivers of blood, and gratuitous ultraviolence. In Planet Terror there’s too much money and too little ultraviolence. You can take B movies and turn them into masterpieces (Tarantino docet, but he, precisely, is Tarantino). I don’t know if it’s possible to turn a trash film into a masterpiece; for sure neither Rodriguez nor Maniquis have succeeded.

"On DeBaser, there are at least two other reviews of this album (if I’m not mistaken), and all of them (including mine) give it 4 stars/points" but honestly, I don't really care what other users say (of course, it’s obvious that Tori fans who gobble up anything from her on DeB are just fine). I know I've never managed to listen to it all the way through. I know that Tori hasn't presented anything to the record label in years (by the way, this is her last album produced by a record label if I'm not mistaken; the last two are supposed to be self-produced) but she is free to include any songs she deems valid on her CDs, and this is undoubtedly a handicap that is making her become a parody of herself.//// "I checked, two gave it 4 points and one gave it a 3 (but still with a positive judgment overall)" but look, there could easily be 20 that give it a 5; for me, if Little Earthquakes deserves a well-deserved 5, this doesn’t exceed a 2. Maybe it's my fault for not being willing to torture myself by listening to it five or six times and starting to let it sink in. That could also be it.

I don't understand why if someone hates this record they have to go on Ondarock. Is Debaser the place for Tori Amos fans "with slices of salami in their ears"? Since when?

dark: the trailer is beautiful, the movie is way more trashy than it might seem. Watch out.

"At school, in high school, I was nobody, trapped in a reality I hated." I had a pretty good time in high school and when I got home from my oral exam for graduation, I watched "The Graduate." A veil of melancholy and depression stuck to me that let go about a year later... I saw this when it came out in theaters (1995) and I liked it a lot; I still find myself thinking about the imprints on the ceilings, the silence's scream, the pregnant girl tearing down the Vasco poster, and the classmates reacting by screaming "Vasco fell!" The professor saying, "some are born to study and some are born to farm," etc... It's a small film, without great pretensions, but it managed to capture on celluloid those moments that none of us watching had lived through but knew perfectly well, and that everyday in the classroom were itching to burst out (I don't think this last sentence means anything, sorry). "Goodbye, Professor" (seen many years later) I liked it enough but not as much as "The School," and, to this day, I have no memory of it.
P.S.: One of the friends I went to see it with was really into the remix of "Senza parole"; two years later, during the break of the film "The Fifth Element," he passed me the tapes of "Ignorance" by Sacred Reich and "Reign in Blood" by Slayer. Then there are people who say that metalheads are less uncouth than Vasco's fans... :)

I almost forgot to rate the film, which, although pointless, has two or three funny moments.
