"Dear Nes: On DeBaser, I believe there are at least two other reviews of this album (if I’m not mistaken), and all of them (including mine) give it 4 stars/bullets. Furthermore, in almost all the newspapers of the time, as far as I remember, the ratings were similar (even abroad, with a couple of exceptions, of course: the wiki page dedicated to the album mentions some, if you're willing to check it out, and don’t consider wiki a too “plebeian” source). Now, four years later, all (and there are many) the fans I know (in person, not online) consider it a successful album. That said, the more important exceptions that come to mind are indeed Ondarock and the Italian Forum (in its "responsibles," not in its "mass") and the "tranchant" judgment from Schadenfroh seemed in line with those two sources: I was simply being ironic (in a calm way, I believe) about such a "definitive" judgment ("scandalous and to be forgotten," if I'm not mistaken, says the commentator in question) without judging. As you can see, the sentence about the slices of salami makes little sense (also because, at most, you should have associated them with the Forum or Ondarock, don’t you think?). Best regards.
