"there are no new flag bearer groups" but there would be the System of a Down... however, I'm still not quite sure if they are a band or an ex-band. (at the System concert there were 40,000 people, double the amount that went to see the Big 4) if you're referring to thrash in particular, though, I really don’t know what to say. the most recent thrash band I listened to I think was Annihilator... formed in the very recent 1984...
