I just wanted to read the intro before going to get the film. After reading the plot, I lost the desire to see it. Kim Ki Duk trying to scandalize you twelve years after Miike closed the cinema & scandal discussion forever with Visitor Q... It seems to me that here Kim focuses on the morbid game of "push the limit a notch further," while good old Miike (let's repeat: twelve years earlier) managed to erase the limit by rubbing it away with a bucket of diarrhea (more or less in the literal sense). This doesn’t mean he’s gotten a big head; it means he subconsciously believes his audience is A) ignorant and B) brainless. I feel really sorry for Kim, whom I will continue to hold dear, but at this point, I’ll avoid the film with a smile on my lips.

I stopped reading at the first line: I don't know, but if it's someone's favorite movie, for one reason or another it's still worth watching. Now I’ll look for it; God knows when I’ll see it. But I will see it. I believe. I hope. I have so many films to catch up on... Anyway, I’ll watch it and then read what you think: I like to watch movies knowing the least possible about them.
