The Godfather Part III was shot by Coppola under the obligation, or almost, of the producers. Coppola spent three years stuck in the Philippines filming Apocalypse Now, ended up broke, and twenty years later he still hadn't finished paying off his debts. This is, in a nutshell, the reason why this film was made: to pay off a mountain of debts. Anyone unaware of this and at the same time interested can easily search for "Coppola Godfather 3 debts" on Google and find everything. Coppola's quote at the beginning is obscene (or oscean). I refuse to read the rest because if someone starts by quoting a phrase said by Coppola under the pressure of a producer who had him by the balls, there are two possibilities: either they are taking everyone for fools, or they are handling the material in an obscene manner. I only read the title of what this page is reviewing, I haven’t read anything else. I'm just stopping by to point out that it’s fine to have "reviews written by anyone who wants to," but here it seems that the editors are even bigger fools than the author. And I don't want to disrespect anyone, really, but it seems to me that those in charge should start asking themselves: "Does someone who is obviously taking us for a ride even deserve a publication?"
