This will be the third time I'm saying it: one of the best albums that Debaser suggested to me.

I enjoyed reading only that one by the RHCP guy. However, it annoyed me that it was clearly written by a ghostwriter. I mean, it’s totally understandable that someone who writes in verses, stuff that fits into four stanzas, would get help. It would be nice if that were acknowledged. Carlo Petrini never had any qualms about it. For this reason, the "auto" biographies of singers are quite displeasing to me. I will miss out on interesting things, I have no doubt about that.

Is it from '88? Alright: ten to one it was recorded digitally. Then again, I might be mistaken, but this wouldn’t be the first excellent album tortured by digital experimentation in the rehearsal room (sooner or later it had to start, of course, but the test subjects always end up with a bad fate, unfortunately). The bass seems to have been recorded live, but in another room with the door closed. The volumes go haywire every now and then. It sounds like litfiba3. Too bad, because it would actually seem like a decent explosive.

Over time, I discovered that: A) these have shared the rehearsal space for a number of years with a group of a friend of mine. Unfortunately, it wasn’t that cool, and now his group is dead. He has another one, but he doesn’t feel them anymore.
and that B) Today they are probably the best Heavy-psych band in Italy, even though deciding who is better than whom remains quite a challenge. But they've explored a lot, and live, even if they didn't reach the sounds of ufomamme, they gifted me a wild jam, complete with a "punk" suite played with doom sounds; it was long, I don’t know, ten, twelve minutes.

I don't know if in the meantime you've managed to visit Warsaw; I still miss it. But Berlin is one of the most beautiful cities I've ever seen.

The idea that rap has nothing to do (often, not always) with singer-songwriter music is extremely serious. The center of rap music is the lyrics. Asking for more than self-celebration and themes that resonate with fifteen-year-olds dealing with their first joints, fights, and fancy clothes would be the bare minimum. Nitro, Salmo, Rancore, Murubutu, Low Low when he tries... In reality, maybe I'm exaggerating; they all try sometimes. But if every four tracks you pull out one about "bitches, drugs, and being tough," you're a clown unworthy of the good words you yourself write. "Eh, rap is also this" yes, ALSO, not necessarily. When did Caparezza write a piece about how gangsta he is, smashing and drugging? He's the most mainstream of them all while being alternative and offbeat. Maybe these rappers are just mediocre entrepreneurs (judging by how much Gue Pequeno claims to have earned, which I imagine is one of those who've seen more cash in the last decade) and they've never understood a damn thing about music/art.

It's not an auteur film, it's not a comic book adaptation, and it never tries to justify the protagonist. It’s nothing. I didn’t expect Taxi Driver, I didn’t expect Dogville. Maybe I expected the Crow of this generation. I found nothing. Almost two hours of a kick in the balls and a phoenix that doesn’t go beyond being the usual very talented phoenix, but Christ, from what was being said it seemed like it was supposed to be Hardy's Bronson. It’s not Joaquin's fault, I repeat: he’s good, but he’s always been, and the level has always been this. Here, more than usual, he just had to lose weight. And I saw it in the original language. 90% of the Italian audience who watched it dubbed isn’t talking about this film these days; they’re talking about the idea of the film implanted in their heads by an exceptional advertising campaign. (And indeed no one is talking about Conroy, goddamn it, I hope at least Joe addresses it in his review). Or maybe it really is the Crow of his generation, and I’m just too old. For sure, "Taxi Driver" yeah, you’d like that.

I had forgotten three things. A: To vote, B) to say that judging a singer-songwriter without knowing the language is really bad. C) to say that Chico is like Rami Malek.

The first paragraph is written really poorly. If you want to talk about games, please try to do it decently at least.
