I would have replied earlier, but I imposed a half hour facing the wall for splinters... ;) Anyway, many may have noticed the publication error of the phrase: <<Sia chiaro...troppa cura.>>, which I pointed out to Their Grace the Editors in the hope that they will correct it as soon as possible...

I'm not crazy about Soulfly, and I prefer Dark Ages; it's listenable, but the ever beloved Max seems far from the glory days of Sepultura... The review is sufficient for originality in some parts, but it feels a bit rushed; proofread, correct, refine, and above all, talk more about the album; it felt more like a review of 90s nu metal.

As far as I'm concerned, this is what I mean by a perfect review: a thorough analysis down to the smallest details, various and interesting clarifications, and a smooth flow; as for the album... I'm off to find it!

I don't vote for the album just because I haven't listened to it, and I have no intention of doing so (anatas, as you can see, you've hit the mark, not that it was necessary);).

3 encouraging points for the review, you could have done more... When you decide to write a review, check out the others already written about that album to add something new that distinguishes your review from the rest. Moreover, to be honest (aside from mentioning the DT, but that’s a matter of taste), I found it a bit lacking in personal opinions, a great example of something that could have made the review stand out from its duplicates. About the album: immeasurable, thus unreviewable.

@franci!: well, that’s a matter of taste, which I don’t think is worth discussing, obviously... Moreover, consider that: a) nowadays it’s hard to find valid groove metal bands; b) a band these days is often accused either of always repeating the same genre or of making turns, often commercial ones, that distort their sound. Anyway, I’ve noticed some changes since the first album, mainly for the better, a sign of a slow, but nonetheless perceptible evolution.
@purpulan: well, regarding the shitty album/band, it’s a matter of taste, as I’ve already said, in the end, I didn’t do anything but try to provide an overall idea of the album and draw MY conclusions... Furthermore, it’s difficult to find an album that is almost unanimously deemed a masterpiece that isn’t renowned, so I preferred to tackle this one; obviously, keep in mind that I didn’t adjust my perspective on my own, but based on the numerous corrections suggested to me for the other review.

@larrok: ok got it. Do you think there’s any band that sounds similar to Mastodon in this CTS?
