"""Welcomed into the home like a benefactor, thrown out like a Jehovah's Witness.""" great comparison :D
Joy Division Martin Hannet's Personal Mixes

Joy Division reached the point of releasing, on the same 7-inch, two different versions of one of the most beautiful love songs in history, because one was the version they liked, and the other was the one Hannett preferred. Since the dawn of time, anyone has always done this with EPs (even in cases of minimal differences as you mean). Great review.

Yes, I know him, not bad. As for the song, I believe you were referring to La Spezia Underground Terrorism (it was awesome).

Fuck, she’s dead? I didn’t know. I only knew her from that song with the bagpipes that went to that ridiculous Sanremo a few years ago... I can’t remember the title, but it wasn’t bad. The review, given what happened, is definitely expected but still heartfelt and well done. I won’t judge the album, not for some other equally expected and superficial “it’s not fair to rate it,” but because I’ve never listened to it.

"""never getting to the heart of a serious analysis of the musical content, limiting yourself to preconceived notions about the listeners of the genre, and thus only your resentment shows through, but with no substantive arguments.""" - > note.

Yes, I read and replied to what interested me. Anyway, just to be clear, I’m stepping out as well because there’s way too much to discuss on this topic (and the right position is the one I've taken, with reason on my side, so there's no motivation for a confrontation), and honestly, I don’t feel like having to answer to all the metalheads who might feel offended in their soul (not you, to be clear!). What can I say? I hope someone understands my point, have a good morning.

By the way, the idea that you absolutely have to play the guitar to criticize an album played with it is the most absurd thing I've ever read in my life! (Here comes the Stoney quote on my profile, where he talked about metalheads who think they know some absolute truth. Just respect and admiration for him.) I play the piano, synthesizers; they might even be simpler than the guitar, but does that mean I can't judge a product played with the guitar? Haha, come on guys, think for once, what the hell, grind can be "academic or structured" as you say, but that doesn’t change the judgment, it can have all the technical virtuosity you want, but it remains a pointless genre. Moreover, reasoning like this undermines the very concept of MUSIC, it doesn’t matter what the medium is or how it's done, but what it evokes in you; there are people who make ambient albums that aren’t played and are masterpieces, and they are still music (far from certain grind brothels). I haven't heard such arguments even from 13-year-olds. You're 32 years old; you could be more sensible in your discussions, right? In good faith. Yosif
