It seems quite fascinating. Once again, the spirit of Dick emerges with all its concepts, anticipated long ago, and this is just the surface; there is still so much to unveil. It’s not even a matter of billion-dollar budgets, but of ideas, visions, passions. Not to mention s(q)uola. If only they would make his books mandatory reading, as well as those of other writers. I remember that once in Fs, you could only choose between Fahrenheit 451 and 1984 (what imagination), and what about everything else? Perhaps something will change in the future. But who knows?
Philip K. Dick Un Oscuro Scrutare (A Scanner Darkly)

Written by quantum value, beyond the "rating" in stars (it needed a "better" cover). Among the various novels by Dick that I've read, this is not the one that excited me the most. The writer considered it his most personal work, due to the topics addressed. To the point that he intended to dedicate the book to prosecutor Kleindienst. Although he had a more liberal attitude towards drugs, with joints or hashish sylum. In the "usual" biography by Sutin, the work is rated 9/10. I disagree; for me, it's a 3.8/5. The best and most original works are those from the '60s. The writing has become more refined and richer, but the eccentricity has faded. Just like the Valis trilogy (Interno Giallo), which alas I sold, as it would now have some historical value. Less science fiction and more humanistic novels, more elaborate but less exciting... but who knows?
Robert Anson Heinlein The Moon is a Harsch Mistress (La Luna è una Severa Maestra)

Reading finished almost exactly at the time of the votes. Careful and well-articulated writing. Perhaps it needed a touch more emotion, but that's a matter of taste. Excellent book, and maybe years ago I would have given it a higher rating. Some sections are a bit too stretched out, but Heinlein's flair and inventiveness are undeniable. A great writer, many authors have drawn inspiration from him, particularly the excellent Varley.

Cryptic/fractal writing...5 on trust!

Good job, Macaco.
Some considerations are interesting, while others have been widely anticipated by various hard science fiction novels that are not easy to read, such as Permutation City by Egan and Stand on Zanzibar by Brunner. Perhaps the future will be more akin to the remarkable novel The Broken Matrix by Sterling.
Minsky used to say that new ideas are almost always reworkings of old ideas; they are rarely "innovative."
Taking into account that this will not be enough to safeguard humanity from extinction.
Hawking claimed that within 1000 years (or even less), Earth, now depleted of its resources, will not allow us to continue living (or surviving). It will be necessary to colonize other planets or satellites.
A leap in evolution would be required, not just digital, but it might cost a lot... maybe.
But who really knows? (quote).

Written with a dissimulating effect. For me, it's a great thriller, with some striking scenes. Not to forget the talented and beautiful Judd, who has played other excellent roles in countless films of the same genre.

Meticulous writing, with some unusual terminology. I own the HDCD Supernatural; it's been a while since I listened to it, but I remember it as a valid work. I agree that it’s not easy to become passionate about this guitarist, surprisingly excellent as a singer as well, or perhaps even more so, considering the countless excellent guitarists out there. Ps: the image related to the Definition is the same as the one on the back cover of Supernatural.

The film didn't excite me, but the actors performed well. With Damon, I preferred (also Blunt) The Adjustment Bureau, based on a story by...PKD.
