Good review, perhaps a bit too long. The album is good but definitely not the best of the Doors... it lacks impactful songs, while there are too many weak points... "Hello I Love You," "Not to Touch the Earth," "My Wild Love," and "We Could Be So Good Together" I really can’t digest. On the other hand, the summer-winter duo of "Summer's Almost Gone" and "Wintertime Love" is very beautiful, along with the political "Unknown Soldier" and the Spanish-flavored "Spanish Caravan." Let’s say it’s an album to take more as an "atmosphere" than as single songs.
