I must admit that I never really liked poor Troisi. I saw the film back when it came out in theaters. Well... I didn't dislike it. But I wouldn't watch it again. It doesn't strike me as a great masterpiece. Certainly, compared to certain Italian films these days, it would shine. But maybe it's just that I don't fully grasp the genius and skill of this actor. Maybe.
Andre Agassi Open

As a former tennis player—of a respectable ranking, forgive my presumptuousness—who had to abandon the sport a few years ago due to serious spinal issues, I admit it's shameful that I haven't read this biography yet. Tennis-wise, I was never a fan of Agassi. Edberg, and more recently Rafter, were my favorites. Serve & volley and a lot of show. However, I have the utmost respect for those "baseline attackers" as Rino Tommasi called them. This book will now more than ever be my next purchase. Today I find myself bored watching Nole, Nadal, and that unbearable Murray. Thank you.

Well... to be honest, I don't mind this collection of tracks. I listen to it gladly despite its ups and downs. Undoubtedly, Downes often makes too childish use of the keyboards. Perhaps there's talent there, but it's confused and stubborn. Payne deserves more luck. In general.
The Beatles Abbey Road

A few weeks ago, a certain Zard - I think that's how you spell it - the one who brings a lot of celebrities here to Italy, called the Beatles the worst band in history. A grand marketing operation and nothing more. In short, he tore them down. While I have little respect for that opinion, I consider Abbey Road a stunning album. My favorite along with Sgt. Pepper. After all, tastes are tastes...

@Giammotto: you are not and won’t be the first to somehow dislike this album. I consider it a gem. Even though there are some flaws – in my opinion – indeed. I remain very attached to Foxtrot and Nursery Cryme. As for Selling.... I, for example, have never been able to stand More Fool Me, to the point that at the end of Firth of Fifth I would lift the needle and turn the record over. The Battle is a bit long-winded, but overall this is a great album. Then again, tastes are tastes.... as they say.

Seven Stones is a gem. By the way, did you know that on this album Banks uses a mellotron he bought from King Crimson??? The album, of course, is beyond discussion. Although Banks (it's always him causing a fuss!!) believes some tracks here are pretty bad. Go figure.

The magazine Rolling Stone is pure garbage. No doubt about it. The WHO? What more is there to add? Majestic.

I can't say anything about this work by the Camels. So I acknowledge your excellent review. Bye.
David Bowie Never Let Me Down
Voto:
I love Bowie. However, this album is the worst in his discography for me. He himself complained that there were serious problems during production, sound, etc., etc. Silly alibis that do not justify the very poor creative verve of the White Duke during that period. By the way: what happened to David? There were alarming rumors about his health (heart problems).
