the review isn't bad, the album is possibly the one I'm most attached to. Subdivisions, The Analog Kid, Countdown are masterpieces. And personally (perhaps I'm not among the many), Losing It is MY Rush song, one of the few that actually brings me to tears, with its melancholic lyrics and that violin at the end. A fantastic album, even if it's not appreciated by the majority of Rush fans.
Corrado Rustici Deconstruction Of Postmodern Musician

darkHaem: so what would the genre be? prog? jazz? or maybe r'n'b? explain it to us
As for Rustici, during the time of Cervello, the musical proposal was excellent; he was even in orbit with Osanna (he's Danilo's brother), but as a producer, he has also done too many silly things. The guests on the album are of the highest level (Holdsworth is a demigod), and it intrigues me quite a bit. Certainly, once the coffers are filled with gold, when he expresses himself in the first person as a musician, he can afford to do what he truly enjoys.

beautiful review. I mostly agree with the album, although it somewhat disappointed me on first listen. There are some very interesting chapters, but the feeling of "chaos," of excessive fragmentation, ultimately struck me as decisive. anyway, a great artist, recently seen in Bollate, who knows how to evoke emotions like few others.
Alan Parker Pink Floyd - The Wall

The review isn't bad. Although honestly, a mention of merit should have also gone to Bob Geldof, who in 30 years of career managed to write a beautiful song (I Don't Like Mondays) and to ruin a great film with his bleary gaze (but he is actually quite fitting for the role). Personally, I adore the scene of Comfortably Numb and, well, the fact that Hey You is missing is a real sin. Furthermore, I am utterly in love with Alan Parker, so I can't talk about this film with great balance.

Genesis When In Rome 2007

The review is, in my opinion, a disaster; it says nothing about the musical content of the product, and the Italian is staggering. The only positive note (which earns half a point more) is the enthusiasm. But these are not Genesis, please. I'm not reopening the stale Gabriel-Collins debate because I've seen the three of them (plus Stuermer and Thompson) more than 20 years ago, and back then they were still great musicians. I've heard that even the great Tony Banks has made some slip-ups live, not to mention Grandpa Phil, who, now mostly deaf, can’t even hear his own voice. It's quite sad.
