Bob Dylan: Nashville Skyline

It's one of the Dylan albums I enjoy listening to the most; it's short but has some nice, relaxing songs that aren't too verbose.

a really beautiful record; for me, the version of Girl From bla bla with Johnny Cash is stunning, and he sings it sublimely, moving me every time he hits those low notes.

I see that many of us are fond of this album. But how can you not like that Bob who looks at you like that from the cover? :D The light and carefree turn of this album and the subsequent ones turned many noses up, but it’s good that over time it has generally been reevaluated as one of his most unique and enjoyable works. "Lay Lady Lay" is spine-tingling, and the duet with Cash is stellar. Great Bob.

Listening to a Dylan work with Simmons and synth carpets is somewhat affecting, but since the '80s you can't come out unscathed. A decent effort, enjoyable but a step back from "Infidels."

Aside from a few moments of leisure with the "Stones" alongside accomplice Mick Taylor, it's a very interesting and cohesive record.

An ugly album, simply ugly and lacking inspiration. It will be difficult to recover after such mediocrity.
