David Sylvian Brilliant Trees
Voto:
Well, in my opinion, Discipline is a fantastic album even without David Sylvian. He might not have been out of place, even on the next two, although I find Belew's voice less emotional but more nervous, which suits the music perfectly. I love the Crimson King in any of his incarnations, but the three albums from the '80s are among my favorites alongside the very first ones.
Keith Emerson Band Featuring Marc Bonilla
Voto:
review ok, today I bought the CD and I must say that on first listen, I didn't mind it at all. very elp, Bonilla's guitar is interesting and not out of place (then I discovered that Marc worked with one of my idols, the late Kevin Gilbert), the voice is acceptable. all in all, an album definitely not to be thrown away.

Yes, honestly, four stars are a bit few; this album is a masterpiece.
Daniele Silvestri Prima di essere un uomo
Voto:
Nothing to say about the qualities of the first, second, and even third Silvestri. Perhaps he is indeed a bit overrated; he has certainly had many doors opened for him by such a father, but this is a far cry from labeling him a nobody. Gazzè doesn’t excite me, but he is certainly worth it. As for Fabi, he may well be recommended (and I don’t doubt it), but "La cura del tempo" and "Novo Mesto" are two albums of almost embarrassing beauty. I won't comment on Angelini (the hot one should be Claudia Pandolfi) and Marino, who in the three or four songs I've heard don’t seem bad at all, while the Velvet are somewhat disappointing.
Dream Theater Images And Words
Voto:
Excellent! Very entertaining, I think you got high marks even from the fans of the drim tiater. In the yellow pages, in addition to the already mentioned Howe, I also found Andy Latimer, Steve Rothery, and Steve Lukather. But then I got tired of reading, because the list was quite long.
Frank Darabont The Mist
Voto:
the review is good, Darabont is a guarantee of accurate King-like philological work (Shawshank Redemption is one of my all-time favorite movies, Green Mile is really well done). This story is one of the best from the King, therefore I will watch the film. I hope I won’t change my mind.
Bad English Bad English
Voto:
a great album by a band I've often missed. one small note, john waite is very English, and the Babies were originally English too, but their career has focused much more on Canada and the USA. one of the most beautiful albums of the decade.
Il Bacio Della Medusa Discesa Agl'Inferi D'un Giovane Amante

For a while now, I had set my mind on buying this as well. What do you think, is it better or worse than the wax mask? I really enjoy Zuffanti & Co., this should be quite similar, even though I've read some slightly more negative reviews elsewhere. Anyway, I'll definitely get it.
Fëdor Michajlovic Dostoevskij L'idiota
Voto:
duanethereturn: but if we give 3 stars to the idiot Moccia or Tamaro, what should we do?
I liked the review, despite the difficulty of reviewing a novel, and moreover by the immense Fedor. I would say 4.5.
Regarding the book, I can't go below 5, just like everything I've read by Dostoevsky, from The Gambler to Crime and Punishment to The Karamazovs. He is by far my favorite author, a genius that I've abandoned for too long for bland thrillers for leisure. Maybe Demons is my favorite, but I wouldn't overlook the extraordinary self-destructive arc of The Gambler. And this same one reviewed by you. Excellent and spot-on the reference to Woody Allen.
Le Orme Live in Pennsylvania
Voto:
You convinced me; since I’m not familiar with the latest albums, I'll grab this one, featuring the great tracks from the past and a few snippets from the third millennium.
"I find that Le Orme have always been superior to the much-praised Emerson, Lake & Palmer... I’ll probably be stoned for this statement, but so be it." Stoning you? No, especially since I’ve never been a big fan of the three, but between Tarkus and Gioco di Bimba (and also Felona e Sorona), I might still prefer ELP. Anyway, great Orme, a band with real skills, even though I’ve never really liked Tagliapietra’s voice.
