But go take a hike, someone even has the audacity to say that Paolo Villaggio is better than Totò or at least on par—are you kidding? Have you seen Totò's movies? They are downright hilarious, to say the least, while Villaggio in the Fantozzi films is just ridiculous.

Of course, comparing Totò to Paolo Villaggio is like comparing apples and oranges. I think he must have said that in a moment of unclarity. As for Fantozzi, aside from a few sporadic gags, it's absurdly insipid. Paolo Villaggio was much funnier, for example, with Pozzetto in the comedies 1 and 2, which truly make you burst out laughing.
