THE REVIEW

A man, a nineteen-year-old at his debut as a pseudo-rapper who reminds us of 50 Cent, only more of a clown version.

This is a flat album, without emotion and thrown out there to move our butts to the beat in the clubs of Bologna and Milan. An album introduced by "Dentro alla scatola," a song you might call mediocre, reminiscent of the 2004 album "Mondo Marcio," with the same themes: MOM, DAD, DRUGS.

His attempt to imitate the American gangster has ridiculed him considerably in front of the rap made in Italy, given that he was an undisputed idol since he recorded his first album at only 16 years old!! Songs like "Nessuna via d'uscita" feature a beat that's undoubtedly nice to listen to, DANCEABLE AND VERY COMMERCIAL.
That’s precisely what makes IL MARCIETTO stupid, immature, and banal, his desire to break through has led him to change the sound aspect to attract THE SO-CALLED FLOCK, OR THE "MASS" of musically ignorant people.

The problem doesn't lie so much in the beats of the album but rather in the repetition of lyrics shown by MARCIO, sometimes reminiscent of the old Eminem—grumpy, misogynistic, and full of problems. It's a shame because MM could have shaken up the Italian hip hop scene differently, he tried but ended up with an empty album, without emotions, and above all REPETITIVE.

Summary by Bot

The review criticizes Mondo Marcio’s debut album 'Solo un Uomo' as a flat and emotionally empty record. While its beats are commercial and danceable, the lyrics are repetitive and immature. Attempts to imitate American gangster rap are seen as misguided, diminishing Marcio’s potential. The album fails to bring innovation to Italian hip hop and is considered disappointing.

Mondo Marcio is clearly the new star of Italian Hip Hop.

"Dentro Alla Scatola"... a masterpiece: Marcio tells us his story with truly unprecedented lyricism and absoluteness.

I can’t help but laugh at the thought that even a loser can achieve success with the usual nonsense: MOM, DAD, SMOKE, psyche, DRUGS, etc.

He tried to create a pseudo-American album somewhere between awful and comedic!!!
